Advocacy in Georgia
The Georgia Council for Recovery is an independent advocacy organization dedicated to reducing the impact of substance use disorders in our communities through education, advocacy and training.
We help facilitate conversations that support the growth of recovery-focused services and support by recognizing the contributions that people in long-term recovery have made and continue to make. We provide hope.
Ways We Are Making An Impact
Join the GC4R Recovery Advocacy Team!
Our power is in our voices and in our stories. We are stronger together. If you want to help spread the positive message of the hope of recovery, you can join the volunteer team making a real difference across Georgia. Even if you do not have experience but still want to speak out, we have advocacy training sessions, both in person and via conference call. If you are ready to help, we will get you ready to make a positive difference.
Contact Jeff Breedlove at jeff@gc4recovery.org or at 404-615-5735 and he will get you connected. We have a growing state wide team of volunteer peers who are having fun and making a difference. Join us and let’s show Georgia that Recovery is Real.
