The Georgia Council on Substance Abuse will host the Fourth Annual Georgia Recovers National Recovery Month Celebration Lunch on Thursday, 29 September, 2022.
We are excited that this year’s Georgia Recovers National Recovery Month Celebration will be IN PERSON at the Buckhead Club in Atlanta.
The program will convene at 12:00 PM with the pre-lunch reception starting at 11:00 AM
Recovery Month is a national observance held every September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and community members across the nation who make recovery in all its forms possible.
The 2022 National Recovery Month theme, “Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community” reminds people in recovery and those who support them, that recovery belongs to all of us. We would like to thank the Georgia Recovery Community for your dedicated efforts of promoting peer-positive recovery supports and services and for your support of GCSA.
