It is with sadness that we share that our long-time board member, Warren Jobe, has passed away. Mr. Jobe was an active member of the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse Executive Committee who gave selflessly of his time. He was an incredible man with a heart for the Georgia Recovery Community. Mr. Jobe was a gentle and soft-spoken person who cared about his community, loved his family, and served us faithfully. He was more active in retirement than just about anyone and he will be missed. One of his fellow board members, Hines Brannen, described Warren as, “A kind, smart, generous and caring gentleman is now with the Lord. He will be missed by all, but the memories are so positive.”
Join the entire Georgia Council on Substance Abuse family in celebrating Warren Jobe, a life well lived. Go with God, good and faithful servant.
