This three-day training provides others the opportunity to support certified peers and others across Georgia in building this competency that is so fundamental to forming effective connections with people who are seeking or in early recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges.

This workshop trains facilitators for one and two day cultural competence workshops designed to increase participants’ awareness of resources available to enhance their own cultural competence, assess areas of strength, and discover opportunities within their own organizations to build culturally competent recovery services.

Admission to the three day training of facilitators requires participation in the one or two day workshop.
