We will share the Unified<b>\u00a0Vision for Transforming Mental Health and Substance Use Care<\/b>\u00a0with the General Assembly to continue to build on the historic success of HB 1013,\u201d\u00a0<b><i>said Jeff Breedlove, Chief of Policy and Communications, Georgia Council on Substance Abuse.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_xmsonormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;The Georgia Mental Health Parity Act sets the foundation for eliminating discrimination by insurers against Georgians with behavioral health care needs. We must now build on that foundation to ensure parity becomes a reality for all Georgians,&#8221;\u00a0<b><i>said Roland Behm, Board Member, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Georgia Chapter.<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cMental Health America of Georgia stands in strong support of the 2023 Unified Vision.
