Governor Kemp has made a strong pro-peer and pro-family appointment with the appointment of Kevin Tanner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cThe Georgia Council for Recovery is extremely excited. Governor Kemp could not have made a stronger appointment than Kevin Tanner. Chairman Tanner is a strong partner for peers and families. We look forward to partnering with Commissioner Tanner as he moves DBHDD forward on those Behavioral Health policy issues (addiction and mental illness) so important to Georgia peers and families,\u201d said Neil Campbell, Executive Director of the Georgia Council for Recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cIt has been an honor and privilege to work with Kevin Tanner as he chaired the Georgia Behavioral Health and Innovation Commission on HB 1013 \u2013 The Georgia Parity Act.
