Draft Bi-Partisan Legislation To Support People with Substance Use Disorder
Last night at his Town Hall President Biden made the following statement:
“No one should go to jail for a drug offense. No one should go to jail for the use of a drug. They should go to drug rehabilitation.” The Georgia Council on Substance Abuse agrees with President Biden.
The Georgia Council on Substance Abuse calls on the Georgia Congressional Delegation to work together, in a bi-partisan effort, to introduce legislation making this a reality – treating Substance Use Disorder as the serious medical issue it, correctly, is thereby ending the mass incarceration of innocent Americans.
