The Georgia Council on Substance Abuse is pleased to announce that Georgia will celebrate Recovery Month in September this year. Working in partnership with our friends at DBHDD, GCSA is looking forward to a positive and powerful Recovery Month across Georgia this year.
The theme this year: “Recovery is For Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community,” reminds people in recovery and those who support them that no one is alone in the journey through recovery. Everyone’s journey is different, but we are all in this together.
COVID-19 is still with us, but we have proven that recovery is stronger than COVID-19. As a result, while certain COVID-19 protocols will remain in place with the Georgia Recovery Month grants, we anticipate they will be less restrictive than 2020.
